CALLER ID BOX
一、USE and FEATURE
1. This Caller ID gathered the newest microcomputer technology and high new communication technology as a whole, with novel design, more smart and beautiful, more practical. Nowadays, the function of Caller ID becomes popularly during some developed countries such as European and America, it has been reputed as a good “partner” of telephone. Also we have opened this function in somewhere of our own country step by step .
2. It can exactly display the caller (the mail call) number, calling date and time after the first ring of the phone, also it can save all these information.
3. Whether you pick up the phone or not , the device will record the actual caller number. When you be back, you can find out the caller’s number. Calling date and time and so on through it.
4. Please read this manual before using .
二：Function Description :
1. Adopting saved electricity design, FSK/DTMF double models automatic compatibility. Compatible for more countries standard and more exchanged machine .
2. 100 records incoming calls memories ,30 records outgoing no checking, time checking , when memories is over 100 records new calling, this device will delete the oldest incoming calling automatically , and save new incoming calling .
3. Three line LCD display, Main calling no accumulated total, New coming call no accumulated total and outgoing no accumulated repeating shown !
4. Electronic calendar, actual date, actual time and week shown !
5. Fourteen LCD display, 5 grades LCD light adjustable !
6. Date/time and FSK automatically check time function .
7. Use two pieces No.7 AAA batteries !
三.Operation Description :
1. Forwarding “up”: Forwarding check “up in-coming calls, from bottom to top, then press this key to the last one , if no calling information, pressing the key is invalid .In 3 seconds not pressing the key, it will return to original screen situation .
2. Backward “down”:
Backward checking “down”, do the same as “up”!
3. DELETE :
When display in-coming calls or outgoing calls , press “delete” once , then this group content will be deleted, Press “Delete” for 2 seconds, all incoming calls and out-going calls will be deleted, New in-coming calls could not be deleted .
4. Call Back
Under checking in-coming or out-going calls, Press “back” once , the number will be automatically dialed out. IF press “back” 2 times, it will be added “o” ahead and automatically dialed out .
5. OUT GOING CALLS: Press this key, could view the out-going calls and talking time !
四.Function setting description
Dial SET button or press UP,DOWN when the phone at off state ,enter into setting state ,the Year digit on LCD screen flashing ,press the out-going or redial button to confirm it ,and enter into next step setting ,then set Year ,Month ,Day ,Hour ,Minute ,LCD brightness ,Local district code orderly .If you want to modify some item setting ,just enter into the setting state by setting operation ,press out-going or redial button to remove setting item ,when find the setting item ,press UP ,DOWN button to modify the particular item ,press DELETE to exit setting state ,setting as follows:
1. Set-up date/time:
Dial SET button or press UP ,DOWN when the phone at off state ,enter into setting state ,the Year digit on LCD screen flashing ,press UP ,DOWN button to modify it ,then press the out-going or redial button to confirm it and remove to the next step ,”Month” setting ,the same modify method with Year setting ,also can modify the Date ,Hour ,Minute orderly .When finish the time and date setting ,LCD screen will show the CID signal ,the signal will renovate month ,date ,week and time setting automatically without the year setting ,and the DTMF CID signal has no effect to time ,date setting .
2.Set-up LCD brightness :
When finish the “Minute“ setting ,press out-going/redial button ,enter into LCD brightness adjustment ,LCD screen shows ”Lcd 5” ,then press UP ,DOWN button to modify it from 1 to 8 ,meantime LCD display brightness changed accordingly .
3.Set-up district code:
When finish the LCD brightness setting ,press out-going /redial button enter into local district code setting ,LCD shows “L----“and the last “-“is flashing ,then press DOWN button to change numbers from 0 to 9 .After setting it as 0 ,press UP button ,remove the 0 digit to up digit ,it shows “L00”,and the last “0”is flashing ,press the DOWN button to modify it from 0 to 9 ,press DELETE can delete the set number ,as the same method till the local district code being set-up ,press out-going/redial to confirm and exit to the screen display state .For example ,Beijing only has 3 digits district code number ,when the LCD local district code setting shows “L010”,press out-going/redial to confirm it ,then finish set-up.
4.Press “set” to setting station, LCD screen will show set 3 Flash, set 4 Auto IP, SET 5 IP, SET 7 PAUSE, they are telephone’s function ! Caller ID BOX need not operate this function, Adjust this function, No any usage for Caller ID Box
五．Attention:
When users install Caller ID, if old telephone route equipped with terminal appliance: program-controlled exchange, code controller, route burglar alarm and so on, which have to be installed on the most front route, or it will influence the in-coming calls’ receiving effects.
六. Deal with general fault/failure
1． No display screen:
Cause: no installed batteries; reversed batteries or batteries kept in bad condition.
Method: install or replace batteries.
2． No dialing sounds:
a) Cause: user’s telephone route has a fault itself
Method: contact local communication department to keep in good repair.
b) Cause: end-route loose contact or cut-off route.
Method: contact the local communication department to apply.
3． No display incoming calls number:
Cause: telephone-company did not put through the service..
Method: contact the local communication department to apply for this service.
